JVM Language Summit

September 24-26, 2008
Sun Microsystems, Santa Clara campus

Dear colleague:

The 2008 JVM Language Summit is an open technical collaboration among language designers, compiler writers, tool builders, runtime engineers, and VM architects.

We will share our experiences as creators of programming languages for the JVM, and of the JVM itself.

There will be a number of traditional talks, with plenty of time to interact with the other attendees in informal groups.

Please consider attending—and presenting.  Space is limited(*).  Bring your own language!

Duke breaks out!

Registration

Coming later this summer: Watch this space!
To be notified when registration starts, just drop us a line.

(*)Space is limited: This summit is organized around a single classroom-style room, to support direct communication between participants. There will be a mix of presentations, ranging in length from 60 minutes down to impromptu lightning talks. We have reserved Sun’s largest conference room, but if the available space fills up, presenters and implementors will be given priority.

Thanks for your support! We are looking forward to a great meet-up.
